character types?
What's the world consist of for creatures?
hey.. on Arilya.. character classes.. perhaps explaining what the basic classes actually ARE would help. Like.. what abilities they give, etc..
Yeah, that.. it doesn't give ANY description as to what the classes are capable of.. what they do, WHY they are who they are.. that kinda thing
essentially, what I'm seeing so far on your site, is a lack of depth.. minimal to no history.. etc.. you need a draw.. something to pull players INTO the game, let alone continuing to stay and play
you've got the basics.. as far as mechanics are concerned.. but there's little to no description on things.. giving something the mind can create internally to make a player go "Oh, hey.. this is kewl.." and have them create something in their minds to grow from
essentially, what you're trying to do is.. from my point of view, is create an RP world, where there's open creativity to the players, but still have them constrained enough to fit into the idea you have for your world.. yes?
K.. you first need to create your world.. what was it BEFORE the apocalypse?
then, I see the write up you've given shows the end game.. how it turned out.. but you should show the way life was before it happened.. create your world.. the creatures that were there.. the people.. the land.. all that needs to be shown. So far, the video gives an idea.. but I'm still relating it to just a futuristic post-modern world..
where's the "fantasy" part of it?
you need to give a back story.. people, places, things, etc.. to grow from. Even if half of them are wiped out from this apocalypse, they have to have existed prior to dying, so the "survivors", the players, know what to draw from for information
the people.. are they humans?
or are there elves, ogres.. or some other race completely? how did they interact with one another? DID they interact with one another? are they still alive.. and now that the world's gone to shit, will they interact with one another now?
I never said the fantasy part of it was always there. Once it was a technological world, a super highway for aliens and humans alike. But, as WWV came they either escaped the planet or died. As time passed and the post-apocalypse shown new growth things were awakened or evolved into what we call fantasy.

no worries man.. I'm not asking for you to answer these to me now.. it's just stuff you need to build on
stuff you can spend the next few weeks writing, creating, etc

Basicly, tell a tale of what life was like before the end.
