There has been a huge screw up in the Department of Mysteries. Suddenly the lives of four people are very different and no-one knows how to fix it as no-one knows there is a problem. Harry Potter, presumed missing, Ron Weasley, owner of Honeydukes sweet shop, Hermione Granger, Hogwarts librarian and Draco Malfoy, the son of the Minister of Magic are suddenly children once again and back at Hogwarts. Yet they feel something is wrong. In their heads, they are still adults but the world is treating them as children. Back in the environment of Hogwarts though, old rivalries and house divides still plague them.
Other things have altered also. Minerva McGonagall, previously murdered by Death Eaters, is the new Headmistress of Hogwarts and Severus Snape is the Potions Master once again. Voldemort is quiet, maybe he's been destroyed in the confusion although no-one really believes that. Lucius is still in charge of the Ministry but is unaware of the problems his son is facing.
Can the trio and their old nemesis put their old hatred to one side and work together to return them to their previous lives? To do so, they will need the help of their new friends at Hogwarts. Who will help and who will try to stop them?
