In order to do damage to an opponent the damage has to be more than that opponents armor.
Health is measured by the attribute Vitality. The higher it is the more damage you can take.
Maybe a chart will help:
Vitality Chart
1 is 20 health.
2 is 40 health.
3 is 50 health.
4-5 is 75 health.
6 is 85 health.
7 is 90 health.
8-9 is 110 health.
10 is 125 health.
11-12 is 145 health.
13 is 160 health.
14 is 170 health.
15 is 200 health.
16 is 210 health.
17 is 230 health.
18 is 245 health.
19 is 256 health.
20 is 300 health.
