Once upon a time… Something that never should have happened…
A long time ago… More recently than not…
There lived a beautiful princess! There lived four near-immortal gods and one who was rather in between. They wanted control. He wanted freedom.
Not your average fairy tale, now is it? Quite frankly, it’s not a fairy tale at all.
This is PLAGUED.
Plagued by bloodshed, plagued by war, plagued by masters, plagued by the four mortal gods that are supposed to bring on the apocalypse, these are the plagues of the various people that make up the land.
The slaves have had it with the harsh treatment. Fed up with the rulers and the higher ups, they have found enough confidence in themselves to start a rebellion. Spearheading this movement is a man who is a higher up himself. His identity remains unknown to the slaves who are in league with him; unknown to the ones who want to stop rebellion. All they know is that he goes by the alias X.
As the forces grow stronger and more slaves are linked and informed, the search for the man called X continues. What are his motivations? Why is he helping them? More importantly, who the hell is he?
These questions plague the government that consists of the other four mortal gods; Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War. These are the four horsemen, the so called gods of the apocalypse. Because of all of the happenings, they have adapted into society and are the ones that are to be overthrown by the so-called slaves. They run the city of Dela, the main city where the slaves are held. The city in which everyone is repressed and restrained. Never to fulfill their true potential; this is a place where nothing is as happy or as pure as it seems. A city where politics reign. Dela is run by the fat cats.
It's now the masters against the slaves, and nothing is ever as it seems. What will become of the horsemen and their reign of tyranny? What will happen to X and his forces? Who will be the victor?
